First time bought Sketchers safety boots and excellent first impressions, great fit, true to size, well made and very comfortable compared with boots bought previously. Gave 4 stars because these aren't like the original castle trousers I've had in the past. The originals were a better colour, a proper ' olive green ' more like the photo, which i preferred, these are more ' olive drab 'i.e. grey green and they are noticeably baggier from above the knee, so much so that i had them altered to a slimmer fit to match the originals. Having said that the zips on the originals were rubbish and had to be replaced, these have ykk zips so big improvement there. Also i think the material on these is better quality and feels more substantial but they still dry quite quickly. This is my second pair after buying the first ones last year so i am happy with them after having the baggy legs narrowed ( this probably wouldn't bother most people but i am a fussy bugger who likes slim fit trousers and jeans ) i have also got used to the colour difference. I think changing the photo image of the trousers to show the true colour would be a good idea as they are not the very olive green shown.

Ordered my coat Sunday and it arrived Tuesday as promised. Coat has been worth its weight in gold this weekend as spent a wet and windy weekend away and was so glad I had my coat to keep me warm and dry. I am usually a size 10 but ordered a M size 12 to get large jumpers and layers underneath.
