I had grown tired of buying what seemed good outdoor boots which didn’t last me more than a couple of years. The Hoggs Rannich boots are expensive but very well made and look like they last me for the rest of my life. They took quite a while to arrive and will need a bit of walking in but I am very pleased with them.
This is virtually the original Brasher (gentleman's) walking shoe which Berghaus were daft enough to discontinue when Brasher died. Cotswold sensibly continued the line which is very nicely made in China. It looks quite different to current fashions and is none the worse for it. These will probably see me out!

Great boots allways buy hoggs as they last longest
A really good product, the reason for only 4 stars is that Parcelforce took an age to deliver and left the package on the ground inside the gate of our drive some 300 metres from the house. The package was we extremely good with the protective cardboard ring unfortunately the carry bag was missing.
Still experimenting with the product but liked the attention to detail of sellotaping the nozzle to avoid the chance of it springing open during transit.
