I am a Carpenter and spend my life on my feet, I have tried a great many boots over the last 40 years, some are comfortable but offer little protection, some agonising to wear, and some that fell apart after a few months. It's hard to find a boot that is tough and can be worn for 9 hours a day, every day and don't cripple you, and these ard the best I've come across. I found them to be amazingly comfortable straight out of the box, the sizing was spot on, and the toe area roomy to allow the toes to move, while the rest of the boot offers ankle support and overall protection essential in a tough working environment, and I have encountered no rubbing or discomfort whatsoever. My feet remain at a comfortable temperature all day, unlike other boots I have tried in the past. They are not particularly heavy and I certainly don't find myself desperate to get them off towards the end of the day. They are nicely put together with thick leather and quality stitching and lining. I would not hesitate to recommend these boots to anyone.

The boots are first rate made with a lot of leather so they will have the potential to stretch and accommodate my age distorted feet. My only real criticism is the awful stretching laces which make it impossible to pull the boots together firmly - essential when you are first breaking the boots to your feet. I've thrown them out and dug out some old para cord which does a much better job. A pair of free acrylic socks was thrown in - horrible things - I would rather have had a quid or so off the asking price. All in all the boots themselves are just what I wanted. I have bought Hoggs products before. They are sturdy and straightforward and I would recommend them to those of us who really do spend much of their time in the open.

These are the most comfortable safety boots i have had.
Having bought many pairs of leggings from outdoor sports shops I finally discovered these. They are comfortable, warm and watertight as opposed to the lightweight things which wear out at the knees within a short time allowing the ingress of water. I would recommend them.
Different from my last pair as they have a thicker lining. I'd say they may be more water resistant than waterproof (but I was stood in water for a while). Anyway this is my second pair because I love them so much and I only wrecked the last pair by leaving them in the pissing rain all night and on a farm where every other f**ker wore them in my absence :) Only real downside is you can't easily drive a Mercedes Sprinter in them as they are just the wrong height and get caught on the underside of the steering column. But that's a bit niche........ FIVE STAR!
I have owned several pairs of these over many years and they have consistently outlived and exceeded the durability of far more expensive wellies at no more than 2/3 of the price. Great product and stunningly fast and efficient service from Waterman's. Thank you.
I'm a Really Serious wearer of Leggings. Have been for decades. Put simply; I wear them every day of every year. Rain or shine. I used to get them from the gent in Sheffield. Then, Chinese imports put him out of business. I tried Chinese. Rice Paper! I lashed out silly money on a pair from the biggest name in wax proofed gear. (They've stopped making Leggings now) They were okay. But, that price! Then, someone mentioned Watermans. Not the cheapest. But, half of what I'd last paid. I bought a pair. I'm wearing them as I type. A year later. Nothing's torn. Nothing's come away. They're comfortable to wear. Price is fine by me. Yep. Comes the time? I'll come back to Watermans, for another set of Hoggs Leggings. Highly recommended.
